it's not a harder route for the bacterial infections like chlamydia. it's *thought* to be a harder route for the viral ones, as they need to enter the bloodstream, but that theory hasn't been medically 'proven' yet.

OP's question was related to oral sex and kissing vis-a-vis chlamydia. Chlamydia is not spread by kissing (data taken from CDC and NHS websites). Can be passed by unprotected Oral.

Therefore, 50% of the OPs suggested oral transmission vectors are invalid - hence harder for it to spread orally.
