If I was that desperate, fifty pence wouldn't be any use. Survival would require only my wits and my health. A good knife and and my keffiyah would help.

Thankfully, I don't have to live on that alone.

When I was little, my mom would send me out with 50p...

I would come back with a big bag of sweets, a little wind-up toy, a new pair of jeans, some football stickers, a pint of milk, and a little teddybear for my mom. Ofcorse, those were the days before cctv
