Well, I've just watched Eastenders and the ending of Carol and David 's relationship has just reduced me to tears. It was more the slow dance to their favourite song. Only a tv show I know but sorry it's had a effect on me.

it was a good episode very well acted, that song at the end made me cry too it used to be one of my favourates when it was in the charts.

hope david comes back again because i like him and hes so good looking.

i think he was in casualty or some other rubish, didnt like him in that though.

Agreed I take films tv etc as they are just as entertainment though how folk find eastenders entertaining another matter

Vast difference between being absorbed in a film to getting emotionally involved case of keeping it real I think.

ive cried at films and episodes of a soap..

surely great acting can happen in both? So why not have a sob if needed..

soaps are ongoing drama's that portray storylines that most people can relate to in one situation or another.. if you watch regularly then it becomes like a journey you are experiencing with the characters.

I know its not real and though i watch it i dont usualy take that much notice of it but sometimes if its a good story i am more interested, and i think the story with carol having breast cancer is good because of her acting and its believable and you can relate to it.
