Close to A55 in our own bubble

Yesterday was our 10th wedding anniversary , we decided that we wouldn't do gifts as such but would rather spend the money on few nights away in a lovely hotel.

I have seen some lovely ones on the internet but I'm sure there are some nicer ones around that I possibly haven't come across.

So my question to you lovely lot is..

Where is the nicest hotel you have stayed.

Oh and can anyone recommend any local to us .

We are based in north Wales so don't mind traveling in any direction really but probably no more than 2 half hours away

Thankyou x

I always enjoyed my stays at Carden Park near Tarporley.

Nice bar area, 2/3 choices of places to eat and a spa + golf course if either of u are into that.

Book a room with a terrace away from the main hotel. Lovely.

Oh and visit the Ice Cream factory nearby. Delicious flavours.

Wherever you end up, have a wonderful time and spoil each other. Congratulations on your anniversary.

Crewe Hall nr Crewe is amazing. Jacobean house with most original features still there. Lovely!
