Apparently gay men are known for their good taste, and therefore ive been told that if a gay guy complements you or is interested in you then I should take it as a compliment. Opinions....

any compliment from any person is good and should be taken well.

every person has a different tastes and you wont please everyone, so be happy you please some.

having a lot of gay friends, i can assure you they are no less and no more blessed with good taste than any other genre!!

i second this - anoe who takes the time out to say you look nice should be thanked for doing so. people are so quick to criticise these days and are too cynical if anyone is nice to them

i wasnt complaining about the compliments, I always say thanks, i was just seeing people's opinions

a) insecure enough to have a problem

AND

b) shortsighted enough to admit it,

so as threads go it was always heading in one direction.
