I've an email from Virgin that tells me that 'Google are making some changes which mean you will no longer be able to use your blueyonder.co.uk email address to log in to any Google services including YouTube, Chrome and Maps.'

So aside from Hotmail, which I don't want, any suggestions from all the techies on here as really I would rather have one email address than several but it seems from this, I will have to

In Your Bush

I have had a gmail account for a couple of years and I can't fault it. I've never had one single bit of spam.

Gmail. You can always forward emails from the old account to it so you still only need to check one.

I can't see why you'd only want one email address. I have different ones for:-

Internet shopping & travel

Friends & family

Work

Political discussions

Religion / philosophy

Music and other entertainments

Keep them separate and keep control of your life. Otherwise you get too much unwanted mail and it gets in the way.

... And I use one mail agent to access them all, but they are different mailboxes.

It would be useful to have an arrangement like that on my front door so all the flyers about UKIP, mini cabs, pizza delivery, garden services etc go straight into recycling.

No you are not and I did try a long time ago to set one up but they didn't have UK listed or I did it wrong, or just struggled to understand how to do it

"Google read your gmail emails"

They don't read them get your facts right they have been accused of key word harvesting for potential pail shots which is totally different.

But then you have to remember all the email addresses, what they are for and all the blooming passwords! Or do you use the same password for all of them?

When you do get one set up, if you want to test it by sending me hot photos i wont be offended, and would confirm it's working.

explain to me how it "harvests" key words from emails if it doesn't read them? And I don't want or blurb either

Done companies use gmail as their webma ill agent which is why it looks like your telewest account as it's the same webmail service.
