Mexico. I don't know anyone who's been there and didn't love it.

Central

Id choose Cyprus, due to interest and climate but also having far less flying time than Mexico. Unless in first class or having great seats, long haul is a pain, especially overnight flights for me. Turkey has less sexual freedom than Cyprus, but a lovely place.

Never been Mexico, I couldn't chose between Cyprus and Turkey but I'd say Turkey is cheaper.

Fifth Avenue is the Main Street running through Playa Del Carmen. It's awesome. Shops, bars, restaurants, street entertainment, miles long. So much to see and do, especially if you like people watching!

Cancun is amazing (if you haven't been to Playa!). It's stunning, but tends to be more clubs, less charisma, no street entertainment etc. If you like to wonder around during the day/evening, grab a drink & watch the goings on, then Playa every time. If you like going to "super clubs" every night, then go to Cancun.

Keep in mind you can go on an evening excursion to Cancun to the clubs and do a bar crawl/clubbing night, from Playa x

Just a bit of general info, the Yacutan Peninsual is the district/county/region that covers both Cancun and Playa Del Carmen. Cancun is where the airport is. Playa is about 45 mins along a motorway from Cancun. "Playacar" is a development of all inc. fantastic hotels and amazing houses (mostly American and European owned) which is situated at one end of "Fith Avenue".

Hope this helps x brochures can be so confusing?!

Mexico is amazing, the ocean is just breath taking, the people are so friendly and the weather is pure lush. Just back from there and booked for next year. Cancun is vibrant and fun. Its now my new holiday destination.
