Very sad to hear of her death. I heard her on the radio last year and was captivated by her stories as well ass her writing.

i have just gone back and watched the special where maya angelou met dave chappelle... it is fantastic in what she is able to teach him...

she is one of those figures where I think we all wished she was our "grandmother" at times...

a true great and her wisdom will be missed
