If you have food in your fridge, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep you are richer than 75% of the world.

I'm ok apart from the the fridge situation.

It is said that if you have a net wealth of £10 or more then you are "wealthier" than the poorest 10% of the UK.

The causes? Human nature and Debt.

It is a global phenomonen rather than just a UK issue, I suspect there are very few if any Brits in that top 85. But global inequality is a massive issue and why I'm sure we are seeing the rise of some rather extreme groups in European politics. Something will have to give.
