Im just watching Fake Britain, and there is a dodgy company selling HIV kits! Madness.

There is a spokesman from the Terence Higgins Trust who said that at the end of 2012, it was suspected there was 100,000 people in the UK who had the HIV infection. 25% of people did not know they had it, which is very scary.

Rubber up people!!!

with respect that sort of comment is exactly part of the issue..

if we don't educate the youngsters before they are sexually active and will 'experiment' or be taken advantage of then they will be more likely to contact an std..

the emotional side of relationships is equally important..

I would also suspect (though without any facts to back it up) that the number of 'children' with std's is probably higher than we all would be happy with..

HIV is increasing in the over 50's. I think today's sex education includes a lot regarding HIV than 40 years ago when it was not known...even when I was at school in the early 90's we did not have hardly any education HIV as it was still deemed that it was only gay people that caught HIV.
