Just a bit fed up of seeing this on profiles. What does it mean? Are people snobs? Are people pros? Are people stuck up? I am earning good money and am im management but would never put something like that up.I am a down to earth guy who has a single profile and swing with a lady as a couple as well and we are both friendly and chatty but NOT professional.Thoughts? Also can you be professional on a swingers site? If people are so PROFESSIONAL why dont they put face pics on? Shy or ashamed?Thoughts please!

Here we go again...!!!!

Unless someone specifically asks for comments on their profile why should someone's description of themself or what they sre looking for annoy you?!!

You comment about people not showing their faces but you only have a cock pic up...are you ashamed?!!

I'm of a view people are allowed their preferences...or am I missing a point?!!

if ya paid for your work by defination your a professional ,, if u think cos you wear a suit and got letters after ya name ,, well so long as the quango you work for still pays you , then ya profesional ,,so doctor or bin man ,, and everything in between is a " professional " and yes this thread will get hot

Hot thread, thats what i was hoping. The face pic bit was for professionals,i have a cock pic because im not lol.I am trying to say that if the people say they are so professional then why not have a professional profile,e.g. with a face pic showing.

professional means you are in a position of trust ie policeman, accountant, teacher someone with a degree etc ie you can sign a passport!!

i dont have face pic on public profile and im semi professional.....

so you can understand why someone who may be a professional ie social worker , policeman, minister, mp etc may not want to make this public!!

some people put it on because it is a status thing like ownin a fancy car or whatever!

to me it just means their credit ratin probably better than mine!! x

Having a degree does not contitute being professional. I can sign passports but don't have a degree. In my job i am on a position of responibility, not sure that makes me professional tho.

Putting professional on your profile is done to try to let people know you are of a specific type. you may or may not be but that is what i presume the profile i am reading means.

I personaly feel that it's context on profiles is a polite hint as to social standing & see no problem with this whatsoever.

post office owners etc can do it too because of position of trust ie professional its an age old argument!!

anyone with letters after their name ie degree or professional qualification are one and the same !

but i do know a lot of professional fuckwits too!! x

Even professional or so called professional people can be arseholes. It really means nothing apart from wearing a tie for lots of them.

"Even professional or so called professional people can be arseholes."

Yes, but a professional person probably won't use the word "arsehole" in everyday conversation, like perhaps, a manual labourer would. (Or at least, they wouldn't shout it across the street at their mates)
