Spotted Woodpeckers! Wwe`ve got possibly two pairs nesting near me and right now they`re feeding their young. Yesterday I put out two of those suet cakes that about 4 inches square. I`m going to have to put out another tonight before I go to bed!

Yes, there`s other birds feeding off them as well but by far the most prolific of feeders are the woodies! Can`t say it`s a hardship though when they`re taking the food from barely 6 feet away from the back window of the house!
