Clothes don't freeze? I seen a moth in the spare room and was concerned my cashmeres may have been attacked, so looked on-line who said individually freeze them for 24 hours, so bagged them up organised the freezer (cleared out some very out of date food. Reminder to shop) Just took them out and they aint frozen. Now theres something that tells you the weather crap and i ain't anything better to do.....

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

I was told to keep cashmere in the freezer to stop it fluffing up. Every time I wore it I felt like I had a throat full of fluff.

It didn't work. Now I won't buy cashmere.

If there's no moisture in them why would they freeze?

In the middle

It's a natural substance that comes off an animal to protect it from the elements so why would it freeze as it has no moisture in it either

Somewhere in North Norfolk

Freezing is the process of turning from liquid to solid.

Clothes are already solid so by definition, can't freeze.

If they were wet, the water in them could freeze but the clothes themselves still wouldn't.

Probably more due to the temp of your freezer not being cold enough. Drop the temp enough and anything will freeze, which is the concept liquid nitrogen works off. The temps needed to keep your food preserved simply aren't adequate to freeze other items.
