just Halal? is this just to isolate Muslims or is it for animal welfare reasons?

If its welfare then what about kosher? or how about animals that are suffocated or beaten to death with clubs? ban fish & chips see how long your council job lasts.

If however you are a genuine councillor with selfless intent to serve and assist your community, then good for you, please try to do the right thing by your ward and district, selfless community minded people are hard to find and often work thankless tasks.

Why don't you just round them all up and put them all together somewhere, you could call it a, I don't know, maybe a concentration camp. Then you can get that lot who eat Kosher and stick them in one too.
