I just heard Boxer Beat by joe boxer from about 1983/4 but still knew every word even though I've not heard it for 20 years.

Are there any tunes you used to love that just kinda vanished from your memories?

I love that song too : the music you are brought up listening to does, quite often, evoke memories.

I used to spend summer holidays with my nan. Unlike the other kids, I knew all the Vera Lynn classics

"Working class hero. John Lennon.

I always loved the flip side to one of his bigger hits the name eludes me... But the flip side was woman.

Dear Yoko

No it wasn't dear yoko.. I know it was imagine I remember now

My error, "Dear Yoko" was the Woman promo single.

Yes woman was written about yoko... But it was on the back of the imagine 45 and it's ok I forgive you lol

What, no spanking?

I only spank people if I've seen their kippers, be it friends or otherwise, touché, canis my dear "

Looks like I missed some potential fun from my original post.

I've always loved this track. So much more than the A side. I still remember my mother walking in just as he used the F word and telling me off. When I said it was john Lennon, suddenly that was ok
