Ok ladies what do we think....

I've got a couple of important meetings tomorrow but I'm dropping my kids to school in the morning. I like to leave them in as long as possible and since I don't have to catch the train into London around 10ish which doesn't give me enough time to do them after drop off who thinks it acceptable to do the school run in curlers?!!

I do, years ago lots of women wore curlers with a headscarf over the top. Just put a hat on

I don't find it acceptable personally but it doesn't matter what I think really.

I've been in Essex 12pm on a Saturday and seen women strutting around in curlers... I guess it helps to have the "I don't give a shit what other people think" attitude.

WOW! Just had a peep at your pics - you could wear curlers - a onsie and those horrid plastic clog things and you'd still look beautiful! Z

If you were in Liverpool you'd look odd WITHOUT the rollers in! If it's only the school run and you're just kicking the kids out of the car then who's going to see you?

I really fancy just going out in my robe Lebowski style one day.

I've seen women in curlers, slippers, pyjamas...in Asda: not for me. I'm fully dressed and made up to take out the bins!

I prefer to be showered and dressed ready to meet people before I leave my home but just sometimes I have to go across the road for a shower. Anyone walking by as I cross back to my home will see me with my hair in a towel.

OP, sometimes needs must but try not to make a habit of it.

I just have to say to some other posters - take a look at the op's profile - she's gorgeous so could probably go out in a bin bag and look good! you can dress some one in Chanel and they can still not look great! Z

Although I agree the op is beautiful I don't think that was what she was asking. For me it isn't a case of it being acceptable to go outside in curlers if you're good looking but not if you're less attractive

hmmmm not sure even I could do that lol!!

how about using the hot curlers in the house & then finish off your hair by using straighteners to curl ~ if you go for loose curls & blast with hairspray I reckon the curl will last.

She's gorgeous, was that the question, or was she asking about doing the school run in curlers?

That's very sweet guys, thank you

Think I will brave the curlers - might even walk the kids into the playground and talk to the other mums lol
