I'm watching the BBC2 programme on the continuing fight about Thalidomide.

I didn't realise that distillers were involved in its use in this country.

"100,000 babies destroyed or damaged by the drug". What a chilling sentence.

Hearing that some parents didn't know until they removed the hospital swaddling at home and babies put in cold places to get hypothermia and die. This is only 50 years ago.
