Its pretty awesome owning a caravan that me and the family (mum, dad and brother) can use on some weekends. We'll be spending a week at our caravan in Morecambe in a few weeks which should be fun.

Anyone else own a caravan and enjoy using one?

Having owned one on a well known holiday park, its not all a bed of roses.

The initial cost of purchase plus the yearly fee`s and insurance, utilities etc.Can all add up to a tidy sum.

Dont forget how much your going to lose on the caravan as it gets older as well.

Hope you enjoy it though,I know our kids had a great time.

It's also not a bed of roses at Towyn when the tide comes in. Think sea and you'll be closer.

Nothing wrong with a Sea View from every window/door

Thanks mate. Our caravan is a nice one as it was an upgrade from our old caravan we had at the same campsite.

Its good for us as it means more income due to higher rent on the caravan when its being rented out to other customers.

Brighton - even Hove!

I can never decide between a caravan or a motorhome. Both have advantage and disadvantages. I wouldnt want a static though.

We've got a motorhome - kit it out properly and you can go anywhere, and stay anywhere you like, any time you like. If you get stuck in heavy traffic, just pull over, put the kettle on and watch the tv until the traffic goes. If you get to a campsite in the rain, you have nothing to do but get in the back, put the kettle on and sip a hot cuppa while you watch the caravanners scurry around in the rain attaching various hoses and cables.
