I only want them to pass me the things I need as I need them.... but on second thoughts.... asking a guy to pass something by size...."pass the 7 inch bracket" and I'm bound to get passed something closer to 5 inches long

Nope - I could have had it delivered assembled, but I'd have trouble getting it around the corner at the top of the stairs. So I requested it was delivered in bits.
