I once got a brothel and a circus mixed up. Turns out one was an array of cunning stunts.

True story this one and I've never forgotten it and never will..

When I was 19 I was in a supermarket with my uncle buying lunch, I bought an apple, a sandwich and a yogurt..

When I got to the check out I asked the lady serving for a "foon" instead of a spoon, confusing a fork for a spoon and mixing the two words..

My uncle laughed and called me a clown..

I then said "there's a technical term for that you know, mixing words like that is called a spoonerism"

He then said "What? Why wouldn't it be called a forkerism?"

I then burst myself laughing and to this day he's never figured out why.. Hahaha!

"Jenny Everett;

Cupid Stunt."

Cupid Stunt was originally going to be called Mary Hinge - except the toffs who ran the BBC then said it was too suggestive and vetoed it!
