Somebody had to ... start the topic on BBQs - I love BBQ bananas and Halloumi cheese (not together, mind).

What do other people put on their BBQ?

What is your favourite?

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Salmon for preferrence, but any fish is good. Get that hickory wood going, mmm.mmm

You can't beat a nice thick crispy-skinned sausage either.

BBQ'd bananas are lovely, I do mine on the BBQ wrapped in foil then serve sliced down the middle with a few spoons of yoghurt and a good slug of Baileys.

On one of the Saturday morning cooking programmes, Levi Roots does some great Barbie food, using bananas, coconuts and mangos as well as some other more exotic fruits. They go well with sweet or savory dishes and the fish dishes he does look superb.

And they are all cooked on a homemade oildrum barbie. What a star

Are you guys seriously suggesting a "cock"tail of aubergines, beer and charcoal is going to satisfy a veggie swinger?

Lmao

I do eat meat but im extremely fussy when having it....

Has to be organic amd the best you can buy.

I will not ever eat meat you can pick up cheap from the s/market .

Has to be at a reputable butchers and i dont mind the cost.

Oh and prefer to prepare it and cook it myself. ...no fat at all. yuck..

fussy cow aint i.......

which is why i go veggie when attending anyone elses....its easier
