No not another bbw bashing but why do big girls put themselves down so much some profiles are upsetting to read as the girls seem to have a downer on themselves.

You are all beautiful in your own right and should embrace your curves. Ladies come in all shapes and sizes big and small so my point is ladies if you dont love and respect yourself no one else will.

In my experience every woman struggles with compliments. Takes a lot of time to chip away before they're accepted (compliments, not the women).

I met a lovely lady the other day for a social and she kept going in about her weight and she was "fat" this and that.

She was a size 14 for god sake and she looked amazing. But the whole lack of self esteem and zero confidence put a real downer on the meet. I'd love to see her again but she won't because she just assumed she wasn't good enough.

Its largely the fault of the media especially tv in plays etc larger women are portrayed as unattractive and often sinister. If you are not happy with your size by all means change it. Beauty comes from inside. The outer body is simply wrapping paper. All woman woman if they are happy with their lives should shout it from the roof tops

I know plenty men who despite being regular gym users with tone, and a strong muscley body who are unkind to themseves.

Its not just a female thing...

people have hang Ups and issues...

Stop putting people into categories... It serves no purpose...

It's not just big women or just women at all. Everyone has buts they don't like etc some just chose not to shout about it or get overly defensive about it when anyone mentions something kind of related to it.

I havent read magazines for a couple of years - stuck in the GPs the other day I opened some celebrity mags and saw how only thin bodies are portrayed as beautiful - yes its always been like that - but this was just ridiculous! I think women of all sizes can look good if they look after themselves and embrace their curves x
