Is this bazaar ????

I'm a size 18-20 honest about it and even though my pics don't show the bad bits its obvious I'm fat (friends pics even more so)....... So here's the question .... Arranging a meet ..... I take another look at his profile and its changed it says something like "I don't meet ample or large and curvy only at a push as I know some of you girls are more than curvy)

So I say to him I've just read your profile and on second thoughts I'm not what you are looking for! His shocked that I would not be comfortable with someone who has that on there profile... So am I being over sensitive ? Is it bazaar that I would not want to meet him? What do you think?

I would say the same. I'm not curvy,I'm fat and I don't hide the fact. If a man feels the need to put it on his profile I will adhere to his rules. Plenty of men like fat

Sometimes I am in mood for super sized woman so put on my profile 'looking for size 20+' and sometimes I am in mood for petite size 0 or 8 so will put that up. He doing same thing but just being slightly rude about it

That's fair enough each to their own ..... I really don't have a prob with him having that on his profile .... Just that he thought it bazaar that I would not be comfortable meeting after reading it !!!!

You saw something on his profile that put you off meeting him so good for you that you calked off the meeting. You've explained to him why, that's fair enough.

Op you shouldn't meet him. If he states it in his profile he really means it and there is no going back or hiding the fact. Plenty of guys out there who like big women. I have a friend whose attraction is the type of the more flesh the sexyer lol. I admire women who show their full body pics in there profile and make sure they attract only men who likes them as they are from the start. Not hiding the facts by close ups pics and camouflages to make it hard for any one to have an idea about their body type. Not a healthy way in my opinion.

I have turned some guys down and said that I'm not what they're looking for after reading their profile - on occasion it's been because I'm a fat munter who has too many veris so has been about too much!

Funny thing is that they all try to suggest that they didn't mean it like that and that I'm not like that!

I would have done exactly the same as you and cancelled. I met someone on my last profile and a week or so later he had on his status looking for a meet but said 'slim women only'. It made me feel he only met me because I as local. I refused to meet him again and he can't understand why!

You did the right thing. I've had a few men message and when I've looked at veris they have only met slim woman so I end up avoiding them .if someone wants to meet me I make it clear in my profile that I'm fat so if I had read that there's no way I'd of met him. There's plenty if men in here who will want to meet you op x

I don't now but I'm sure when I first looked at the profile it can not have said that !!! I'm sure I would have read it !

Glad you feel better now. It would be wrong to meet, imo, if you were possibly going to have a nagging suspicion that you were not what he wanted, and he was making do. He didnt sound the most sensitive or possibly thoughtful person either. He has done well to get feedback.

I consider it having self respect not to want to meet someone who openly advertises that they are not attracted to women of my shape and size. I'd presume he's only showing interest because he's desperate enough to overlook that he's not that into me, and that he'd be thinking of some hot celebrity the entire time.

I do expect them to at least pretend to fancy me!

No I don't think you are as I find it a little difficult to understand if its obvious from your pictures you are a larger lady and not his preference, why he wanted to meet you in the first place and given the comment 'at a push' its his loss as that to me comes across as if he desperate and bordering on a larger lady being second best

Do you take everything on a profile as face value? He may have put what ever on his profile as a dig at someone else or as a bit of a laugh. it says on your profile 'you must be available when ever I click my fingers' should people take that as serious and you are well up your own arse or as a bit of humour? Its how you read into things why not meet for a drink with him and talk in person its the best way of making a decision.

No a bazarre is a form of market often found in North Africa and the Middle East.
