"What are they? How do you acquire them?"

I talk to someone new every 15 mins in my job and 99% are repeat customers. Listen to what people say don't just wait for your turn to talk.

And if you suffer from lack of confidence. Just repeat to your self "everybody sucks but me"

Nope it's because I often visit Bristol. And even though I've already had a brush off. I like to be nice.

I would agree with that but would add the word politely at the end.

"What are they? How do you acquire them?"

a set of good social skills allows you to fit in without losing your own identity, allows you to express your opinions (even though you may be the only one holding them) without anger or insult, to hold a conversation with a stranger and to make friends ...it also means you can resist the urge to pee in peoples front gardens and shovel your food into your mouth with both hands n front of the queen .

These skills are learned at home, at your mates house, at school, at work etc

To know how to behave in certain situations.

Knowing what is right or wrong in situations, and how you deal with them.

I also think people that don't conduct themselves correctly in situations, have not been taught properly or self educated themselves on social skills.

Yes I agree, if I'm unsure in a social situation I watch what others do but some people don't seem to have that ability and continue to drink water from sports top bottles making loud sucking noises in meetings

Titz Towers, North Notts

I've had a social skills bypass. Today I was out with a friend and I thought I saw one of her workmates:

'Is that Esmeralda over there, sat on the step?'

'No, she looks as rough as fuck, Esmeralda looks nothing like her. Do you need you eyes testing?'

'Well it is at a distance. Perhaps Esmeralda looks as rough as fuck at a distance.'

I then realised I was not making any friends....

As part of my job, I have to work with cuntomers every day. Good social skills, or social interaction requires...

Good manners.

The ability to lie convincingly.

And never stay too long.

Is the never staying too long related to the ability to keep up the good manners and the lies?
