Is a couple of hours of sleep better than none?

Somewhere in North Norfolk

If you've not slept at night but have the chance to grab a couple of hours of sleep before having to get on with the day, is it worth it?

Do you feel better after the sleep or do you wake up groggy and disgruntled because it's not enough sleep and you've had to wake when your body really didn't want to?

Any sleep is better than no sleep.

Brighton - even Hove!

Something similar was on the news this morning. I'm asleep by about 11pm an awake about 6am. I could do with more I guess. I used to work with someone who coul powernap and he would fall asleep for about 15 mins at lunchtime, and be asleep almost instantly. Totally weird. I need proper sleep.

Black Country

I'd rather go with out the two hours and work through the tiredness.

It normally takes me about an hour to drop off. And I can't do power naps. I feel 100 times worse after.

If i have a 'Nanna Nap' in the afternoon Im a right groggy cat so tend to try and ride it out. I need a good 8 hours at night tho. My man on the other hand can close his eyes at any time of the day and be asleep instantly snoring his box off

With only getting 3/4hrs sleep a night I sometimes grab a couple of hours about lunchtime. Sometimes I feel great on waking up and sometimes Im rough.

I find even a few hours is better. Insomnia blights me.

There's nothing more likely to lead to a very poorly functioning day than looking at your alarm clock and realising that it's 5 and time to get up when you've spent the entire night awake and unable to shut your brain up.

I do too but I'd prefer a few hours sleep to none - find it staves off the feeling losing your mind slightly longer, especially if working.

I used to work through the night before a presentation sometimes and two hours was definitely worth having! !

I'd prefer no sleep to just getting an hour or 2

Titz Towers, North Notts

I love having a couple of hours nod on the sofa. I feel much better for it. I could have done without the cramp in the calf when I woke up, though
