We have on our profile that we are only looking for bi single men or couples with bi men. Every time we get a message from a straight man, we reply with

"Thanks but we are only looking for bi people"

They ALWAYS reply back with, but i am bi, i just don't advertise it. We are talking about 6+ messages a day mind!

Is it that much of a stigma???

I would say it negatively impacts on some as there are a number who won't meet bi guys. What they don't realise is that being deceptive can be more of a negative impact on them.

Ahh crap, you're right! I changed it a couple of weeks ago and forgot I removed a paragraph that had the "Bi (fully or playful) men only" in there, and forgot to add it back in again.

Its been there for the past year though

I wouldn't worry about it myself. I'm happy to meet bi men. A straight man who attends clubs and parties etc has a good chance of catching an sti and we don't steer clear of them do we? I'm assuming that's why most people would avoid a bi man. Women are more likely to catch a disease therefore more likely to be carrying one,am I correct? People welcome bi women,actually advertising for them in a lot of cases. I'd rather a man who used protection with men than a woman who attended bukakke parties or clubs where men were putting their fingers inside numerous women without disinfecting first. I'd recommend that whether you want or don't want bi guys you set up a profile on fabguys to help you find them or them out. As the amount of straights on here with profiles on there is amazing!

With that mentality why have age/size/gender/ethnicity etc preferences at all. After all, we're swingers, we should fuck all comers.

What annoys me is the assumption by some, that if you don't want to play with certain groups you're "ist" in some way or judgemental. I didn't play with married men for example as they were petrified of being marked. There was a thread a week ago from a guy asking for help with his prof , he was fit good looking and prof wasn't badly written but his verf had come from a TV so many girls posted that they wouldn't meet him as he was bi , I looked agan a few days later and he had hidden the verf and was listed as straight

Ahh, the eternal dilemma of Bisexual Single Male - Be open and honest thereby immediately culling a large quantity of potential meets, or lie about your true nature and try to get away with it.

There are quite a large number of profiles which explicitly state that they 'won't meet Bi or Bi curious men'. From a single guys perspective, given the ratios of men/women/couples on here, some feel that lying about their nature is easier than exorcising / limiting a fair portion of potential playmates.

Is there is a stigma attached to male bisexuality? Possibly. Some don't want to 'come out' (natch) and necessarily talk about it. For some, I believe its grounded in casual homophobia, that there is a risk that no matter how 'straight' the guy plays, he's lustfully wishing to be up the blokes bottom. For others, there is the purported risk if HIV infection - statistics and numbers are all over the internet and they are there for conclusions to be drawn from; so theres an element of risk reduction. For some its just a complete turn off. Theres probably more than a few that don't want to risk their partner being repulsed by a spot of guy-on-guy action.

So, stigma, possibly. Preference - definately. The latter should be respected until it becomes the former, or is expressed in less than congenial terms (or downright fear / homophobia). Sometimes, we Bi guys don't do ourselves favours as some are quick to see an expressed preference as a prejudice. It's not, until it is (if that makes sense).

So, some men see it as a sexual 'stigma' . Some choose to maintain dual profiles, some choose to deceive and others (like myself) have no issue with being open and honest about who we are. I venture that the latter also have a greater understanding of swinging; that it is less about ratios, percentages and total number of meets and more abou compatibility, the experience and the longevity of swinging friendships - and respect.

Overall, its a situation which will never truly resolve itself (unless theres a mass influx of bisexual couples - 20,000 should do it!).

Respect preferences; place value in openness, honesty and choice above deceit.. Don't berate or belittle those who openly express their preferences (and that goes for more than just bisexuality).

FabGuys is a good site if you are looking for 121 meets, if you are wanting to try things (as you are unsure) it is probably the best place to be.

Personally, i prefer a female to be in the situation as well, also Boo loves to watch and join in, the guys on FabGuys are mostly 100% gay, so dont want to interact with her... which is why we are here
