Who's been? Any good? Is it expensive for food etc? Will we be occupied for a full 6 hours?

It's £21.00 each to get in, we would spend that getting pissed so thought we would have a change!

It's a good day but you can easily spend as much again on snacks, drinks and food.

Take a pack up and bottled water.

Dobr miss the batcave - once you enter don't keep walking, find a spot out of the way where you can stand and let your eyes get used to the light and just watch. Mist people miss the best part by keeping walking and not looking carefully.

It is great. Worth the spend.

Check the weather b4 you book tho as obviously a lot of it is outdoors.

40 odd quid to get pissed wet thru is not my idea of money well spent.

Really appreciate advice cheers. I'll fly up to asda in morning for sandwiches etc wasnt sure if they allow you to take food on site?

40.00 odd quid is money well spent getting wet as its not something we do everyday!

I know, ive been there and the prices are ridiculous! I'm more of a primark and occasionally river island type of guy! Why people spend hundreds on clothes is beyond me!

Take her to IWM North at Salford Quays then. It's free and you can take her shopping at The Lowry for an even worse 'designer' experience than Cheshire Oaks

Its a good day out go for it ok the food and drink are a little more but thats to be expected but you will enjoy it if its not too wet.

In other words to put the whole thread together !!

Take a picnic

Umbrella and rain coat

Some wasp repellent

Don't feed yourself to the animals

And you will have a fantastic day, come back and let us know what you think as i would like to go as well.....Ruby

Do not take the water bus or tram, they don't add anything to the experience.

If you're lucky the jaguars will be out, and the other big cats are easily seen

Plenty of babies at this time of year too.

As Tempting said, take a packed lunch. Drinks aren't too bad but the rest of the food can be pricey

Funny you should say that! So have they just literally painted paint onto dogs?! Is that even legal! Yeah ill avoid the monorail thing. Cant wait! Certainly taking own food!
