Grantham.

apart from having a cleaner work for you?

mine, given on another post, is getting rid of mould, especially on shower curtain,is scrub it with washing conditioner. ( never use it otherwise - I must have an odd sense of smell as it smells of cat pee to me )

Herts

Fuck knows. We've tried viakal, bleach, baking soda, soaked them in strong detergient and boiling water... Doesn't seem to matter how often we clean them, they always seem to go mouldy and then we can't get it off, so we've decided to jack them in and buy completely plastic ones that we can sponge down easily.

cotton pad soaked in lemon juice fastened around taps gets rid of limescale build up.

Toothpaste and an old toothbrush for cleaning grout.

hairspray for getting hairdye off hard surfaces

I'm sure I'll think of more!

What's the purpose of the towel, or does it just give the shower curtain something rough to rub up against? x

i remember watching my great gran get mildew out of an umbrella once with lemon juice. i tried it as an adult and it didn't work. wish i could remember what she'd done. i just remember her putting a bottle of lemon juice on it and watching the mildew fade. i thought it was magic, lol

You need to add salt to lemon juice in a one to one ratio and then dilute with hot water.

Use an old toothbrush when you use a razor every two uses of the razor give a quick scrub with the toothbrush. It keeps the blades really sharp removes the hair more effectively and makes your razor last longer too. I've had the same razor blades for ages.

you knight! will try that. don't remember the salt, but she did pour it on in the bath and added a little water after she'd doused it. thank you.
