The over-use of question marks is a pet hate. You cannot make a sentence more of a question than another question, so why use more than one?

I agree. It's often a measure of how angry someone is.

This site has an awful lot of subscribers, and therefore a cross-section of society. Society clearly isn't that bright so you just have to ignore it all and get on with it in truth.

It winds me up too, but I just don't speak to the people that aren't particularly well engaged with their own brains.

No they don't read the same.

The use of the comma makes the difference in the second sentence.

If we were grammar nazis....IF..... then it should be from his horse..

That's not quite correct. I posted this a few months back on another thread. It's:

I helped my Uncle Jack off a horse.

I helped my uncle jack off a horse.

Missing off the capital letters changes the sentence not a comma.

I don't like that either.

My little gripe isn't about punctuation but I don't like the letter h pronounced as haitch - it makes my teeth feel funny.

I'm not fond of "of" being used instead of "have" either.
