What goes across your mind when someone puts their phone number in their Profile?

Are you ever tempted to call it without on line contact?

I have yet to pick up the phone and just call one yet myself. But if you boys came across a female profile with one on would you ring it?

Cant believe people do give their numbers out on profiles,we used to use our own moblile numbers and used to get calls/messages all day and night and can only imagine the same must happen to people who have their phone numbers showing.

Now we use a swing phone that gets switched off when we not expecting a call or text.

I am the same but i just leave it on silent and will collect voice messages when i am free.

I can see that for some it would make them appear more genuine so I understand why they do it

I would'nt in a million years though

Ive never been tempted to get in touch with someone that has a phone number on their profile

i have a swing phone and vinilla one and the swing is on slient at all times unless expecting a txt or call from someone and only answer when have time i.e when kids or family is not around to ask questions

I wouldnt say they are desperate. Maybe they have an extra fone which they are using for swinging. And maybe they dont spend alot of time online. It has its advantages and disadvantages.

Yeah its wrong!,,,I think the admin peeps who run this site should say or do summat about the phone numbers on profiles not sure wot but summat lol,,then if a person/couple wants to meet up they give a phone number in private messages then.

simples!

Maybe they ring each other or text? Its got to be cheaper than some of the services advertised on minority cable channels you see.

It smacks of desperation to me and naivety!!

There are other ways to show you're genuine without leaving your number.

I would not be the least bit tempted to phone someone I'd already ascertained wasn't wrapped too tight!

I think its ok in the context of a MEET TODAY situation I guess

But I have had calls at silly oclock because I have given my phone number and I was not amused

Maybe I should have returned the favour another time, who knows.

I am not sure I always think its desperate but it certainly can be practical.

I give out my number early on to prove genuine but it can be abused and has been

some people eh!
