"Sorry to right you but it was May 11 1985. A very very sad day RIP" My mistake , sorry. I got a feed from my teams supporters group to show respect on this day and acted prematurely.

"No disrespect intended but do we have to perpetuate our obsession with tragedy? I was speaking with some Sheffield Wednesday supporters recently when they were in town and they said the same about Hillsborough. QUOTE: "Liverpool have been dining out on it for years"." I remember those images of the fire well. Terrible tragedy, but at least it resulted in changes to stadiums for fire safety. I guess the difference is that Bradford is remembered and mainly mentioned on anniversarys. LFC fans bleat on about Hillsborough daily.

"Its such a shame to have a tragedy thread disrupted by people who have nowt better to do....maybe if they had someone they loved, die in circumstances that were abhorrent, police trying to cover it up and trying to get justice for the last 25 years they would think before typing. " What drivel. Maybe you should get involved in politics.

" R.I.P. From memory, wasn't it 56 people who died. I know one guy who was in the disabled section and he has since stated he has never been so glad to have been thrown over a wall, as he was that day. " You're right,56 died and 265 injured

I should have checked the facts. I was just reposting something that had come up on my football teams feed. My apologies.

"How the hell did this get on to Liverpool fans ? Everyone who has been to a football match, especially in the lower leagues or twenty odd years ago, will know how bad stadiums were back then and the thought of that could of been us still pops up every now and then. " It got there because some people lack respect and try and disrupt things for the sake of it and lack any sort of class.

I was speaking with some Sheffield Wednesday supporters recently when they were in town and they said the same about Hillsborough. QUOTE: "Liverpool have been dining out on it for years"." We're supposed to just forget about them? Having lost someone close in an accident, let me tell you that for families and friends that never happens. Remembering those killed and injured in such sad circumstances is hardly "obsessing over tragedy". It's showing some respect and compassion. It's also looking to past events to ensure we learn from them and do everything we can to prevent it from happening again. Your posts are inappropriate for this thread and you're making yourself look like a thoughtless, crass person. RIP to those lost. I hope their families and friends, and those injured, have found some peace.

" The families of the victims at Bradford got closure and the correct inquest verdict, something that the families of the victims of hillsborough have never got. Let's hope the current hills borough inquest will give the families closure
