how organised/anal are you?

Evie and I are off on a short break at the end of the week.

So today I have been washing and packing items that I intend to take with me. I like to have it organised and ready, so that there is no last minute rushes. On the few times I leave things to the last minute, I tend to get stressed and feel out of sorts.

So are you like me or a last minute packet?

Last minute - I really don't need much to survive.

When I was younger I went backpacking alone around the world and didn't even start to pack until 30 minutes before I had to leave.

Life is more fun when you fly by the seat of your pants.

Omg you guys would drive me crazy. Thankfully I'm not staying with evie the night before. I think I would be getting edgy.

I can pack for a whole week away in under 15 minutes - a skill learned through traveling so much with work.

Takes me about 20 minutes to pack for a weeks holiday. You only need underwear, clothes and toiletries how much longer can it take?

We are down to Devon.

To make it clear I don't pack loads, but I just like to know it's clean and ready to go.

Think it stems back to being a kid, my folks were never organised and it used to drivee mad waiting to go anywhere, and being late to places.

I get very twitchy, as evie has witnessed on occasion.

We're off to Woolacombe. Any suggestions of things to do gratefully received. I really want to see some wildlife in the actual wild lol

I' really sad when I go away for more than a night or two, I make a list

To be fair, it started when I had my beloved dog. If I started packing too early and he saw the suitcase, he'd sulk and it broke my heart so I had to do it last minute while he wasn't looking, hence the list!

Brighton - even Hove!

I plan ahead and am ready for holidays in advance. I hate last minute things. I'm not anal about it though.

If I'm going alone it's a last minute thing. If I'm going abroad with my daughters than I pack about a week before. Just so I can make sure I have everything and if not it gives me chance to get it x

I always have to check my pockets about ten times for Passport, tickets and money (in no particular order) in the taxi on the way to the airport.

As for packing I am hopeless. I once packed two completely different shoes thinking they were a pair. In my defence they were very similar in colour.

So all packing duties are overseen by the Mrs and she is extremely OCD about it.

reigate

I tend to be obsessive about writing a list and get things out the day before and tick them off the list.

Was brought a man bag years ago and is great but do check it about 3 times before it goes in the case.

At the end of the day so long as have my wallet, tickets and passport that's all I really need.

I'm like you I like to be ready in advance but I tend to pack too much then the morning I'm going I reassess what I have and halve it

If needed I can do a half hour pack and go though
