Just had a wonderful meet last night that was completely unplanned - ok we were kiddie free - but other than that had no idea we would meet ubtil 2 hours before. I know we were really lucky and they were absolutely gorgous but who thinks spur of the moment meets are better?

we will definitely meet them again and hope as always to make firm friends but do you think its more exciting or prefer the build up of a long messaging session?

We don't normally go for spur of the moment meets either, but we tried the "meet today" section one night, inside 3 hours we had met up with someone ,decided yeah lets go for it and had a great meet.

It could be that the meets are so successful because it is what you are all after at that very minute I don't know, but it worked for us.

Majority of our meets have been spontaneous; though find majority on here are not up for it - they seem to want endless exchanges of mail and/or web-cam first

We are sort of in the middle of what you say.

We are not into ping pong mails either, we normally have a chat on MSN and normally decide from the initial chat as to wether to meet them.

We don't really want to know that much about them apart from what we are all looking for, so other chats would be pointless for us.

But we did enjoy the meet today meet, so may well do it again.

have met on the 'spur' several times, sometimes with new guys but more often than not with guys i have met before and just happen to bump into online... Its hard to plan when you are going to be "in the mood " i think...

Last night, we had a meet with the guy who lives 2 doors away from us ....

We'd never talked or even thought about doing anything with him, but we were out in the yard having a drink, he was in his yard and we were talking over the fence.

One thing led to another and we all ended up having a great night, so it goes to prove that unplanned fun - can be fun !

Hang on.. he lives 2 doors down? ... so you were talking across the garden of the neighbour who lives in between??
