When Im meeting and have my full profile up - I have a detailed description of my size curvy hourglass size10-12 as Im 6 feet tall in heels - in the pics I look thinner - like an 8 but Im not so I make it clear x lol x Guys like curvy anyway lol x

Men/ladies - anything to do with size/age/looks, ie, if you are one extreme or the other,

What led me to post was a meet came round about 2 months ago ( one of my last ) when he arrived he went wow you are so curvy and tall - a real amazon i love it - I thought you would be short and thin from your pics !! Im so chuffed !!..... Me all I heard was bigger larger taller etc - It ruined my whole evening - my cheeks still burn at the thought - I was horrified someones perception could be so different from what I presented ! I immediately changed my profile to really set out exactly what I looked liked as I never wanted that again ( even though he keeps asking to meet ) and I even re emphasised it on messages as well x never again lol x

I point out that I am short fat and old. I think I dress well for my height and shape and being naked doesn't offer that advantage.

Sizes can be misleading so I don't use them.

On the side discussion about confidence and feeling fat, I understand that to some extent. I am fatter now than I ever have been but about five years ago I lost some weight but because I was concentrating on what I was eating and weighing I saw myself as fatter than I am now.

I taught me an important lesson about size being as much a psychological as physical. If you see yourself as fat and think that is a bad thing then what you project is that you are not happy about being you.

I need to lose some weight but I can honestly say that gaining this weight over the last two years I have had a lot of fun, many lovely dinners out and yummy cocktails.

I prefer to keep it quiet that I'm the stunt double for the Michelin man.

It then either becomes a pleasant surprise or a horrendous shock depending on whether he is a turn on to the lady in question.

Also, I'm led to believe that I am in shape (round is still a shape??)

My problem is I worry to much what people think of me (particularly men) just read your post and I think your attitudes brilliant! I probably sound a right sad case now..I'm not honest lol its just a confidence thing x

I have put it in my profile txt as received some nasty messages about my pics saying must be really old cos I dont look like them..bizarre as i regularly add new pics..guess my camera guy friend just talented lol....if they dont like it...feck em...im big and beautiful...

Not at all. I grew up hearing my father telling my mother he would divorce her if she ever got fat (she went up to a size 14 during her menopause but she spent most of her life around a size 8/10). An aunt used to call me Fatso when I was a size 10. I'm aware of its affect now but it has taken me years to understand it was hearing things like that that had affected me.

I HATED myself when I was thin. I've now been fat for a lot longer than I ever was thin and you either learn to like what you have or you beat yourself up and that isn't productive.

I know I will lose weight again when I have my head sorted about other things. Right now it's not my priority.

Me telling you that you look lovely doesn't make you feel any better or believe that you look lovely. Until you believe it it won't matter how many people tell you that you are lovely.

I used to b ridiculously size conscious. But since having kids, iv realised, that the issue is in my head. Trying to cover up n worrying about Mt size and wobbly bits during sex, was taking a lot of the fun out of it for me, but Also frustrating for the guy I was with when I'm holding back and he doesn't care bout my size.

My size is on my profile, dnt have any body shots, so will discuss it, if they dnt like it,

Why are women always worried about what some man thinks? I'm a size 18 and proud and if a man don't like it then its his problem I spent years worried about my size and then realised one day that I had more men chat me up when I was out than my size 10 mate did and it made me feel great. Now I'm married to a lovely man who gets turned on seeing me naked and still I get chatted up so stop putting urself down ladies men love larger ladies its a natural size and one u should all be proud of use the assets u were given and be proud
