Does anyone go for a wonder these days?

Bradford

I read something a while back, saying that people just don't "wonder" anymore. Got to admit, the only time I go for a walk is when I have to go somewhere. I haven't just walked in a long time...

"oooo what's over there", etc, etc

Going for a walk now, but I have a destination in mind, so that's not really wondering.

I do sometimes go for a wander. And while I'm wandering I often wonder what I might find. Malvern hills are just outside my door ..... A good place to go wandering while wondering about things.

we go for a walk every evening when it's light enough, apart from being good excercise it relieves the stresses of the day and gives us a chance to chat without the interruptions that being at home bring and away from all the day to day stuff. If its been a really stressful day we can walk miles really fast before we even know it

I do that, but on my cycle. I'll just set out in a direction and see where it takes me. Tunes on, sunny day and just let my mind wander...

Does it count as a wander, I wonder, if you know there's a pub at the end of it all?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I haven't wandered for a while but I enjoy it when I do. I should get on to wondering where to wander.

I'm lucky to live where there are plenty of tracks and footpaths although I wouldn't call it wondering.

Yes, we go wandering every weekend. Ben introduced me to the Green Chain walks. Beautiful scenery, lots of flora and fauna, and a great way of keeping fit.

I would say thats a Good end to the end of the day but now days my bladder does,nt agree if out miles away But we all know what we like even if certain parts of our bodies don,t agree Deliver us from temptation Its a hard call at times for me but love a pint and a nice Meal at the end of the day.

I lived in London for a while years ago and spent most of that time walking. Incredibly big place and very interesting, especially the architecture.
