I live with a man who works constantly and 3 sons. Laundry is NEVER-ENDING here. I don't mind doing it, but I HATE putting it away. What is your most disliked household chore?

4 maybe a bit young, but it might work if you just put them neatly on their bed. That may make them think "I have to sort it now as I'll have nowhere to sleep later otherwise".

I know exactly how you feel. I remember when I was a child. I use to be really good with rubbish. Like I used to walk down a path and see a empty crisp packet on the floor. Pick it up and out it in the nearest bin. With all this hassle about recycling and fears of getting rubbish mixed up. It's less stressful just to leave it there now.

London

A friend of mine has four sons. It got to the stage that they nearly all fit the same size pants and socks. When she did get her hands on them to wash them (the pants and socks) she would put all of the clean ones in a box on the landing for them to help themselves.

No putting them away.

This drives me mad too. My bin wasn't emptied one week as I tried to make a stand on it and put what I liked in the bin, after all I didn't agree to do the recycling.

Its not that I'm against recycling per se, just that they have refuse people at the tip and they should be the ones sorting it.
