Many people including myself have a penchant for this simple delicacy....I try not to eat too much of it, but really do enjoy some fresh stuff with just butter and a cuppa.

So many different types out there, I tend to make my own when I can.

What's your favourite?

I love bread sooo much, but I'm doing Slimming World so it's limited at the moment. I used to work in a bread shop and their tea cakes were to die for when just baked and warm.

As you are from Yorkshire, can you explain what teacakes are..I have this lost in translation with my OH. They are indeed rolls.

The land of grey peas and bacon

They have this muesli bread in morrisons and often they reduce it to 19p and it's the most lovely bread...I only eat seeded granary bread but it is my downfall

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I go through phases with different loaves. At the moment it's Pain de campagne as a light toasting brings it back to fresh bread.

Sundried tomato or a crusty Cobb loaf.

Bread to dunk in the gravy when you have a casserole or similar is bloody lovely ! How can something that tastes so good be so bad for you???

I love bread. Dense rustic to light and crusty. Fruit breads also rock and I just had a little swoon at the idea of malt loaf with butter and some heather honey with a pot of tea...

I love the breads they make in Europe. I can spend ages pointing and cooing b4 I make my mind up.

We are off to Sitges next month and can't wait to get up in a mornings, go get some fresh breads and pastries and then take breakfast on the balcony. Marvellous.

Just back from a Mayfest Ploughmans selling bread, cheese and pickles.

Somehow I have returned with a crusty loaf of bread called Ancient. Delicious, crusty with a open texture and very chewy. Cheese straws and pickled carrots too.
