It'll go bloody cold but don't think oil freezes unless it's rather colder than your average freezer temp

Vodka does not freeze so I doubt baby oil would.

Why not:

1. Take a bottle of baby oil.

2. Open freezer door.

3. Put said bottle in freezer.

4. Close freezer door.

5. Leave a couple of hours.

6. Remove bottle from freezer.

7. Check if frozen.

I wanted it freezing cold for a massage and thought freezer would be the quickest way to get it ice cold

All oil will freeze depending on temperature not sure a house hold freezer will be Cold enough, but it will be ok for a cold massage

ikea do some ice trays in the shape of a cabdburys fingers - frozen them are very mmmmmmm - just be careful they get sharp when they begin to melt

Mineral oil doesn't freeze until around -30C if I remember correctly so to freeze baby oil completely may well require a temperature below -15C

1) Use Liquid Nitrogen

2) Use alcohol cooled by Dry Ice as a substitute for Nitrogen

3) Use Dry Ice

You'll need to achieve a temperature of between -15 and -30 degrees centigrade for the baby/mineral oil to freeze. However, at these temperatures it will burn skin and so I really wouldn't apply to skin at all, plus you have to very careful what you freeze it in as a lot of household plastics will become brittle and shatter at these temperatures.

My freezer goes down to -18°C. It freezes baby oil quite quickly on fast freeze.
