Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I recall a James Bond double bill in the mid 70s - neither film was current, it was just a way to keep kids quiet for an afternoon.

I know I saw Flash Gordon at the cinema, and a Disney thing called Pete's Dragon.

There was a Michael Crawford thing about a cartoonist who became a superhero, not sure when that was.

But the most bizarre was the Village People's film. It was my younger brother's birthday, I was about 10/11 I think, and someone, presumably my mother , had selected this film.

I recall being very confused when she announced we were leaving after about 15 minutes. I dread to think what she saw to make her react like that!

Robin Hood - the Disney cartoon.

Ooooh, I had forgotten all about that, I'm having flashbacks now, of seeing the characters on the back of a cereal packet......jeez, I'm ancient.

I can remember when i was in my teens i tried to get into a porn cinema in Glasgow.

I thought the normal attire was a long overcoat. Didn't realise i needed ID as well

And TBH i can't remember the first film i seen in the cinema but the last i seen was Phantom of the Opera which surprisingly i enjoyed, so much so i bought the DVD.

Probably just ketchup at the time.

Now I prefer them with cheese, fried onion and chili sauce
