Do you have a minimulist house with hardly any ornaments around or is your house full of them. Im afraid to say i have ornaments/pictures on every available space

Petts Wood

When we moved down here 13 years ago we sold every ornament, every lamp, every fruit bowl and vase and started again.

We are now ultra minimalists, so much easier to keep the house clean.

my mom loved ornaments, particularly glass ones, so as kids we were too scared to move incase we accidentally broke one and i now cannot stand the things.....the closest things i have to ornaments are candles

I don't go overboard with ornaments. I don't really like clutter so those that I do have are well looked after and each have their place to be in.

I used to have to do the dusting and hoovering as a kid for my 50p/week pocket money.

Mother had billions of fecking ornaments that took me hours to dust cos i was scared of breaking them.

So,

Now i dont have hardly any - got two in one windowsill and a few pics of family and friends in the spare bedroom windowsill, other than that - no no noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I do like my photographs. Never used to bother but now that I live a good 2 hours away from my family and longstanding friends I do have various framed photos about the place.

I like those multi-frames though so I can show off 6 or more piccies in the same space as just 1.
