Somewhere in North Norfolk

I don't mind my name. It's a name and in that respect it serves its purpose. I've never considered changing it.

My Grandad was Eric - so I love that name.

I like my own christian name, always liked Iris otherwise. No idea why.

My given name is always a good ice breaker

However I'm known by my middle name to family and friends

It can get a bit schizophrenic when form filling

I don't. . my dad named me after his celebrity crush, and to this day, the wife still irritates the b'jesus out of me.

I think I would have preferred being named after Jemima Puddleduck

Mine's mundane but it suits me

If I had a Shakespearian name, it would have to be Mercutio

'An old hare hoar

and an old hare hoar

is very good meat in Lent.

But a hare that is hoar

is too much for a score,

as it hoars 'ere it be spent.'

I'd be any of the various Falstaffs. He seems a hedonistic sort.

One of my daughter's name. My dad, bless him, asked why we called her Rocks Sand.

I didn't like my name, no one had it, I envied my sisters with their names you could buy key rings etc. I wanted to be called Sally.
