How to cure .... ?

I've a banging headache and just want to lie down in a darkened room... And I don't feel like schlepping down to the local shop for ibuprofen

Does anyone have any old wives tales for headache cures ?

A cold can rolled over your forehead. I used to suffer from migraines and this helped. Hope you're better soon x

not sure how much truth there is to it but apparently just filling/swirling your mouth with water is a quicker way to re hydrate than swallowing and drinking it.

Strong cuppa coffee and plenty water. But ibuprofen would be better tbh.

I get a headache from tying my hair up so If you've got your hair tied up in a pony tail , let It down !

Hot shower helps if it's a sinus type of headache, a head massage or acupuncture. Shall I bring my needles round ?

Epsom

Acupuncture point between thumb and for finger of left hand.

Take right thumb.- place crease of thumb onto Web of left hand.

Roll r. Thumb forward until on tip.(tip of thumb/not nail) there should be a slight discomfort when pressure applied.

Circle thumb tip in clockwise direction 30 times

Now anti clockwise 30 times

Repeat as necessary.

Helps release tension in skull.
