Yes i always do, from top to bottom, even read the veri's if they have some to get a better idea of the person.

If I message somebody first I read the profile. If someone has messaged me first I might take a few exchanges before I read their profile.

Frustrates the hell out of us people who say they have read our profile but then ask questions that clearly show they haven't bothered. Lack of effort means lack of interest back from us.

I always read every word but generally the type of people I meet often only have a 5 word profile at best though I have a long block list which mostly consist of people who obviously haven't read mine , so they get the instablock

I read the profiles on at least 3 or 4 times prior to contacting anyone, i also fab photos to show my interest and read their verifications to make sure i am what they are seeking because although they may be seeking a single male their preferences like height, build, colour and even type of meet may not be me, i feel it pays to do this type of research so when i do write a polite message to the recipent, so when they delete without the message without a reply feels even sweeter, sorry i was having a rant then about my pet hate (ignorance)

I had someone wrote to me with a face pic cause he like the look of my profile pic so i send him a face pic back lol he turn round an said i didn't know you was black!!!!! Cause there's not many on here ,,, I didn't look it in my profile pic ,,,,, i said didn't you read my profile or seen my 1 public pic the big clue was there and he got mad and turn nasty then blocked me

There are just some profiles where I get lost in the pictures and forget to read the profile.....I then have to go back for another look......get lost in the pics (again)....could spend all day doing that!......I think it may be age related though. A bit like going upstairs for something and only remembering what it was when I get downstairs and do something else.....I digress, what was I saying?....

I read profiles too as it's an opportunity to get an insight into who you are and what you enjoy sexually.

Some profile are really good without boring the pants of people (apologies for the terrible pun) whilst others say little or don't do justice to the author.

Sounds to me like you had a lucky escape there anyway, not really the sort of guy you'd want to meet?

You'd think reading your profile username on its own would have been a dead giveaway as to your race aswel?

I'm sure there are tons of other guys on here who would love to meet you.

that's the thing i was planning on meeting him ,,,, he just didn't think i was black and he argued that i was lying and i was a fake and my profile was cause i dont have any pics ,,, that's when i knew he didn't read my profile or seen my public pic lol cause that's was a big clue ,,,

Yeah, 90% of the time it saves a lot of wasted time an effort messaging someone with whom your incompatible, particularly when i take the time to write something, i am not saying i never send a cheeky message on the off chance, if someone isn't 100% compatible but why waste time on someone who clearly won't be interested.

We always read profiles in full before sending a message. In the message, we like to mention something that the person has mentioned in their profile so it shows to them that we did actually read it. It's why we can get frustrated when we never get a reply. We took the time & effort to read the profile & to compose a message, is it that insensitive of us to like a response, even a thanks but no thanks. Manners cost nothing.
