"spiffy jeans , "

^ "Spliffy"..and when I was a kid I asked my mum for a pair, she gave me some money to go and buy some, I brought them home and my dad "he's not having them"...

My mum said "Why?"

My dad didn't like the spliff reference.

At the time, I didn't even know what a spliff was, they just looked like a cool pair of jeans.

But I brought another brand...I was the kid that used to wear REALLY baggy jeans and great big Fila trainers and Kickers shoes with the tags still left on at school!

I remember them days.
