will it affect you? do you think tube strikes achieve anything? are you getting fed up with them striking?

my hubby is a bus driver in London and will have to pick up more passengers but get no extra

Maybe your hubby and the other bus drivers should be uniting with the tube workers and striking together...

You ever heard of united we stand divided we fall?

Guess its more important to see that those earning megga bucks get their 5% tax cut on all earnings over £150000 a year than save the jobs of underground workers. But don't worry too much cuts to the buses are coming too and seeing as you are so anti disruption you will not be complaining when your husbands pay or job is cut.

Since the last strike there have been over 40 meetings between TFL and the unions. TFL have insisted that all station booking offices will close

bus drivers earn their money ... the abuse they get is unreal ... nobody should HAVE to strike to get things done

The land of grey peas and bacon

Not sure bus drivers earn their wages on the amount of passengers they pick up...obv with strikes there will be extra passengers etc....this is the time I'm glad I don't live in London any longer

they don't ... but it will be hectic when they all use the buses instead of the tube .. he usually uses the car so far then uses the tube so will take longer to get in himself

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It will affect me on Wednesday but I support the strike as I value the ticket office staff.

Strike starts 9pm and last 48 hours

This means that services will start running down after the rush hour

They won't be back to normal until Thursday morning
