Mine is Sabu, he is known but not as legendary as the Hulk Hogan's and Ultimate Warrior's etc.

This Sabu wrestler literally had scars all over his body for being in barbwire roped wrestling matches, I admire what he put his body through!

Cesaro is my favourite wrestler I've seen in all my years as a wrestling fan, probably because he's a rarity in that he actually WRESTLES in his matches, as opposed to so many who spend the entire match punching and kicking their opponent - his strength is also amazing.

Rob Van Dam is amazing - had a move in ECW called the Van Terminator where he would jump from one top rope turnbuckle to another and drop kicking his opponent in the face.

The move was banned in WWE/WWF due to its high risk on the opponent and the wrestler doing the move himself.

back to wrestlers... I have always liked the wrestlers who could wrestle... the technical wrestlers... so now it is the likes of daniel bryan, CM Punk, Cessaro... back in the day it was the Eddie Guararo, Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, Chris Jerico ect...

and I was a massive ECW fan and more a fan of the Tag Team Wrestling... Road Warriors, Midnight Express, Steiner Brothers, Demolition, Freebirds ect ect...

Marty Jones once told me to go outside a pub, where he was going to execute me and tie me in a knot. I told him I'd finish my drink while he nipped home to put his wrestling trunks on, cos if I was gonna be murdered,I'd prefer it was by someone in camp trunks.

I needed 3 days off work after he'd finished chuckling at my answer, then through of through 3 postcodes.

Still see him knocking about and I'm waiting till he's in his late 60's,then he can get ready

TNA will start to improve now Hogans gone as bizarre as that sounds. Only thing I don't like about them is they rush storylines and aren't the best at continuing rivalrys as people are constantly changing face/heel

If you want a good "wrestling" promotion look at ROH. They rarely if ever put on a bad match, all their talent albeit somewhat unknown they are all super talented and they have helped launch many careers like Punk, Samoa Joe, Daniels, Bryan, Cesaro to name a few

First match I ever saw Claudio Castagnoli in was in 04, I can't remember much about the match other than it was in a small sports hall, he wrestled wearing a suit, and botched a Ricola Bomb on Alex Shelley - needless to say, he's improved massively since then.

I haven't seen much of the Kings of Wrestling stuff from later in the decade, but have watched lots of their Japanese matches together, it was around this time Claudio started doing his feats of strength in the ring, and Heros athleticism is unreal.

WWE dropped the ball with Hero. First with his stupid ring name and then trying to get him to bulk up. He was fine as he was.

One Cesaro/Castagnoli match that sticks out in my memory is Castagnoli vs. Daninelson from RoH, think it was 05/6 mark but if your a fan of the more technical style its an awesome match of holds and counters and big hits

I've probably seen it, personally I think Castagnolis best opponent on the indies was El Generico (yes I know he's now Sami Zayn), the pair of them had excellent chemistry in the ring.

Don't get me started on what WWE done to El Generico lol I hate when they have perfectly good personas, they get to wwe and change it, it doesn't work and they blame the talent rather than themselves

How do you mean? They unmasked him yes, but under that mask is a good looking guy who just so happens to be incredibly charismatic and effortlessly likeable, ok so he can't BRAINBUSTAAAAAHHH!!! people headfirst into the turnbuckle anymore lol, but even his stripped down WWE style is amazing to watch

Wwhen I used to watch, Rollerball Rocco was a newbie along with Danny "Boy" Collins who used to be Big Daddy`s tag partner. I remember Adrian Street and Bad Boy Bobby Barnes, Tony and Ignacious Borg, Jim Breaks and many more. I can see the guy who used to tag with Bert Royal but I can`t remember his name!

You're right, Vince doesn't own that and he provably doesn't think of it as a direct competitor.

I use to rate the TNA organisation because they were different, they had a wrestling ring made from size sides and looked like a hexagon which was different, their talent were young, they put on great matches.

However now I think TNA want to try and compete with WWE, with going back to a square style ring, bringing back old wrestlers just for ratings. So it has died down for me.

Their talent is good though, so far WWE did poach MVP who came from TNA, aswell as The Alpha Male Monty Browm to name a few.

If I could choose, I would bring ECW back, I remember going to the Hammerstein ballroom for their first one night stand PPV and it was insane,

Then Vince had to fuck it up by creating a brand out of it!

"AJ isn't in TNA anymore unfortunately "

TNA really look like they are going through a phase of budget cutting and looking to the future. Clearing out all the ex-wwe oldies and trying to develop and bring in new young talent. People like Sam Shaw being a good example of an unknown getting over with a creepy gimmick. Tigre Uno, Sanada and keeping the homegrown talents of Storm, Roode, Young, Abyss etc. In the long run it will help TNA but it takes time and fans these days don't always give it time lol

Plus theres always Global Force Wrestling on the way to spice thngs up a little for TNA to compete with realistically

Brave of you to bring up Benoit lol Personal take on him is I like to see him for the awesome wrestler he was and not for how his life ended. Il always remember that suicide dive through the ropes and ending up all hung up on the announce desk lol
