Yes. Yesterday I woke at one and dropped off about half five. Today I woke at half three and here I am again. Watching it get light and listening to the birds wake up.

I have strange sleeping patterns too. I'm nodding off before 10pm and waking up a few hours later. It's very annoying but I've sort of accepted it.

Yep went to bed around 11.30 pm gave up trying to sleep around 1 am ish and been up ever since on the plus side, I have sorted out lots of paperwork that has been hanging around whilst I was having my kitchen fitted along with cleaning the lounge of dust, both of which I was going to do today once I had got up

I can't sleep because of medication I have been on for the last month.

Prior to this I was a bad sleeper and used to wake after only a few hours. But I found something that helped that some of you could try. I used to stay awake until as late as possible. About one or two in the morning if I could. I would be so tired that I wouldn't wake until morning. But I felt better as although I had only had a few hours, it wasn't broken sleep. Which I find worse.

not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds)

I had a poor sleep pattern a few years ago, waking at 2 ish every morning (roulette and shopping channels, ) then awake for a few hours, it takes time to reset your body clock to allow it to sleep continuously through

Theres lots of useful tips on the web about sleep patterns, follow them and persevere and zzzz zzzz zzzzz or just read my profile its sent many a person to sleep,

have you tried turning off your phone laptop tv etc and reading a book for a hour or more just before bedtime.

Ditto. Been weeks since I've slept properly. The poster above is onto something. There is research that shows staring at phone screens has the effect of waking brain up. Sure won't help sleeping. Which is what I'm trying to do now!

Just thought of another idea. Lettuce!! I began to notice whenever I ate lettuce, I would have a lovely sleep. I don't know why but it does work, for me anyway. I don't know how much you have to eat. I used to eat a large portion with my evening meal.

We've been waking up at around 5am and the only solution in order to get back to sleep is to fuck.

We feel we are OK with this method of managing the condition.

We do find that if we fall in to bed too exhausted to fuck and immediately collapse into slumber, we do wake up some time in the early hours then we do get high-quality rampant sex.

I get up and do a couple of tasks I was going to do the day after. When I go back to bed I do tend to sleep. I haven't tried the lettuce but will give it a go. I have tried rampant sex with myself but that doesn't seem to work. lol

I managed a few hours sleep, now I'm wide awake.

Might do something and then attempt to squeeze in a couple more before I have to get up.

It's amazing how many people suffer from being unable to sleep. It's the waking up wide awake at daft o'clock knowing I won't get back to sleep that does my head in.

I go through spells of this and but '1 a night sleeping 'tablets, from the pharmacy, they break the pattern .

The trick is, when you feel like you're dozing off on the sofa , get up, and have 30 minutes internet free before you settle down to sleep.

Give your head a chance to calm down, we all know how this site excites people

I find several large whiskey's will send me to sleep. I just can't get up and do any work the morning after though.
