How close is too close?

Well, I watched a gang bang video yesterday and one man was constantly rubbing himself and cock on the poor girl. Everyone else gave her a few inches but he was rubbing his cock in her hair and on her cheek constantly. I wanted to slap it away for her. There's close but there's too close

Personal space can be defined as the distance between your body and the tips of your fingers, arms outstretched in front of you. Intimate space is between the elbow and your face when you bend your outstretched hand in to touch your face; so effectively the length of your upper arm.

Never knew this! I always thought it was in your kissing zone?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It depends. My home is definitely personal space that feels like it's being invaded if someone comes through the door sometimes.

Think it depends on the person and the situation. In the queue at Asda if you're breathing down my neck you're intruding my personal space...although right place and right person and biting would be allowed

Depends for me too.

I have different personal space in different places.

At work I have a huge boundary, simply because of the type of people I work with.

In everyday life I'm very protective of my personal space, I don't like people getting too close.

With intimate or close friends I don't really have personal space, I'm very tactile, but respect that other people aren't.

My personal space is when I get home from work knackered and don't want anyone invading it...other than that I love being close to someone

When I'm out and about I deploy tactics to get people out of my space. I'm anally retentive about giving space in public owing to a couple of bad experiences as a kid.

If they sidle right up to my arse (often the case in a queue) I take a step backwards with one foot and if my heel contacts their foot so be it, they're too close, usually they just have to step back. I also let my bag fall off my shoulder and then hitch it back up by throwing it backwards. Again, if your 6 inches from my arse, you're going to get hit.

If they come too close to the front or side of me just a death stare and an obvious step away.

Posters are quite correct as our tolerance of other people is affected by mood and circumstance as well as familiarity and consent. I assume the lady being treated to a dick bashing had consented prior to the event...or just liked it that way.

Central

Im a touch more mediterranean with touching and personal space being fairly open. But not to creeps etc. Ive been groped on public transport, but always made it clear Im fair game. Im happier someone in a supermarket or other queue being behind me, even a touch close, than trying to push in, which I detest, as a true Brit.

I hate it in nightclubs when men feel it's ok to rub up behind me as I'm dancing. I have been known to throw and elbow in the direction of their ribs before.
