I'm not old enough to remember pre decimal phone boxes but 2p, 5p and 10p slots were available when I was a youngster and if you were rich enough to put 10p in, then you could craic for about half an hour before the operator asked you for more dosh

I don't think it can be done. I pay by phone. You send a text, they send a text back with a code to put in a box on the website. So, unless public phones have changed in the last couple of years to allow people to send a text from it, then no.

It depends what they asked. A lot of them were interested in what type of knickers I had on. Informing them I wasn't wearing any normally left them lost for a comeback. Or telling them I was wearing their mum's.

There is a number you can phone as well. Maybe that's what he meant?
