Or are you happy to go for supermarket brands?

Not a snob, but know what I like and what works for me. So sometimes only preferred brands will do. For most things it's a case of buying what's on offer

I'll try unbranded products and stick with them if I like them.

Sometimes I'm disappointed and sometimes not.

The proper brands usually taste better than the supermarket cheapo brands. Had some cheapo version of weetabix the other week and they were horrible.

Are those naked beans naughtier than the baked variety?

I experiment with products and try a lot of own-brands. I certainly don't buy branded medicine, such as aspirin or paracetamol, where you pay about 50 x as much as the generic same stuff.

There is a thread on snobs, where some have mentioned adherence to branded items only too.

Some brands I avoid like the plague. Cadbury's is a welcome one that I don't though. Other chcoc can work well too, but mainly stick with cads.

Alot of things are the same product. Iv worked in various food production places in the past, thepackaging is changed at the end of an order, say waitrose or M n She's, but the stock on the line is just the same, and continue with tesco own brand packaging. Sothe ddifference in price is for the name on the packaging, well I don't eat that bit! Some are different, as mentioned above, fake weetabix are rank, but I prefer cheap beans, x
